Just jet the secondairies 4-6 jets larger than you have now, forget the powervalve in the sec. and if you still believe your not getting enough go two sizes larger and try again until you reach the desired result...............................Robertjr..... ......................

You also need to see what the high speed air bleeds are. They may be too small and you may not be able to put enough jet in it. What are the secondary jets now? What are the high speed air bleeds?

I agree with Robert and Eddie, as in the best way to go. I was just answering your power valve question. Run the same carb's w/o power valves (in the rear). I did however setup on the air bleeds (as Eddie mentioned) and the squirters. Then rejetted in steps, (468" single planes, 600"lift rollers) Think I am at 80 front (with power valve) and 88 rear on jets (think?). Never ran that small of a carb on a 540" motor myself (1050 works great, have one on a 509" motor tunes easy and dynoed out at 580 hp). So my setting are just a baseline on mine (smaller cube engines) .. Pete
