Anyone know where to purchase a nice Sunbrella fitted cover like was originally sold by Baja? My 10 year old 252 cover is rapidly dying and I want another one. The manufactures tag on the cover is torn and unreadable. I just don't want to go to a "one size fits all" cover, the fitted ones are so nice. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

XT Just did a cockpit cover for my 342 in Sunbrella. Awesome work!
Full custom fit covers are easily found ordering online at places like iboats.com or go2marine.com. Westland makes a cheaper shark skin cover (polyester) and Sunbrella (acryilic). These are not semi custom, they are exact fit reinforced at the windshield and cleats and very well made. I use a Shark skin full cover and like it. Expect to pay as much if not more for a cockpit than a full cover.
I do not trailer with a cover.

Nope, the rachet style was made by Commercial Sewing out of SurLast material that is a lighter weight than Sunbrella. The "Trailering Covers" do have the Vac-u-hold systems that Mooring covers do not have, but the Sunbrella dosn't hold moisture like the waterproof SurLast material. The ultimate situation is to have all (three) covers!
Cockpit Cover - in Sunbrella for overnight while boat is in the water.
Trailering Cover - for the most protection while traveling down the highway.
Full Mooring Cover - for the best long term storage cover. Even better if it is made to cover the sides of the hull.
The Sunbrella is made to not hold moisture, but the golden rule is to: (Never cover a wet boat!)
