Default Sell a boat

I recently upgraded my boat putting about $40,000 worth of upgrades not including my labor. I put a conservative cam on my blower motors so I could run silent choice. Engines built by Fowler and Dyno'd by performance research.

I get a lot of information in my area (Ohio) that these boats just are selling not only due to the economy but noise ordinances which they are cracking down on here.

My boat runs more silent than most fishing boats and I've not been stopped for loudness.

I think I have the boat priced right at $69k but no interest.

Please let me know your opinions.

Default seems fair to me

I'm somewhat of a cyber tire kicker. Always looking, checking out prices. Not quite ready to take the leap for another boat yet, but I like to keep an eye on whats out there.
I love pictures, the more pictures, the more interest I develope in a boat. I can't afford your boat yet, but I would like to see some more pictures, engine bay, drives, interior, helm. Just my opinion, you may generate some interest with some more pictures on your site. I'm sure you have lots of pictures available by email, but some people may be too shy or busy to ask.
I'm sure somebody will give your boat a new home.

I agree, put up some more pictures like interior shots, transom and such. Where are you advertising it?

Thanks for the advice. I had the boat in storage but just got it out. Will take your advice on the pictures.

This is very close to what I have been looking for, right size, price looks fair, except........(sorry) waaayyyyyy to much motor for me. I'm looking for a preformance boat that I don't have to work on or adjust all the time. Good stock motors that start every day. Please understand, I am not kicking your boat, just voicing an opinon as to why it might not be selling. Most guys my age would rather get in, turn the key and go. Built motors have a reputation for needing a lot of 'care and feeding' Good luck! (Good looking boat too!)

Thanks cutwater,

I had these built for reliability. Last year I ran them and except for a few break-in adjustments I really didn't need to touch them. I told the engine builder to be conservative cause I don't have the time either.

The Cam is real conservative (they idle well in silent mode). I'm sure there is another 75-100hp for those who want to boost pressure or be more aggressive on the cam.

The engines are a lot like the Merc 525SC but with better blower and carbs.

I have the original fuel injection. If worst comes to worst I'll just put it back on.

Thanks
