I was wondering everyones opinion of Electric brakes on a boat trailer.
I am thinking about installing some on my single axle trailer that currently has NO brakes.

I have been using them for a long time. They work great. I have never had an issue with them on a boat trailer, I even visit salt water a few times a year, but I immediatly flush them. Given the cost compared to Electric over hydraulic you could replace them several times before you make up the difference.

i have electric/electric on mine & u cant even tell the boat is behind you when breaking. I been told to just let them cool down before backing it down the ramp. it never is issue as i normally end up putting plug in, taking straps/covers off, etc before the ramp.
