Default Cigarette anyone????

This is not an add but just wondering if anyone would be interested. Boat has been sitting for 15 years. I have been told that only 2 were ever built and the other one is on the ocean floor somewhere. Has what was told as Sonny Leonard 540s, boat is showing 200 hours on one gauge and 212 on the other. Myco trailer with 8 wheels and tires. Trailer is rusty and tires are flat. Vin on back of boat is ORT450010978. It is supposed to be a 1978, 48 foot Cigarette. Very much in need of restoration.

PM me if interested I can get you in contact with owner.

Engines and drives ought to be worth something. The new owner had it given to him, so anything is a profit.

A serious project. Looks very similar to a Cary or older Magnum.

If the hull isn't compromised, it would be worth bringing back. These old performance cruisers were the best.

Often makes me wonder how things end up like this. So many of us here take such good care of our things, but I feel like we are the minority. I see so many high end cars / boats, ect. that are just beat! Someone paid A LOT of money for that boat, then just parked it with no cover, probably not winterized, and let it rot?

Theres is a lot more to the story. Wife turned him in to IRS during a divorce, he hid the boat. He finally lost some land to them and later died. Boat sat for the last 15 years and was covered for some time but covers eventually rotted.
