Default Talk to me about 24 outlaws

What speed am I looking at for a factory one with a 454/B1?

Are there specific known issues I should pay attention to when I go look at the boat, or is it just all the normal used boat stuff?

I've heard people say that the 24 is a hull to stay away from because they chine walk badly if you start getting good power in them. Is there any truth to this?

When i was looking at them for a friend i was told the engine hatch was known to hold water. Besides rot that can put extra strain on your lift motor.

Inside the cushion where it would be hard to see/drain? That's a good tip, thanks i'll look for it.

This is the rear of the boat

From what I can tell from that picture the drive seems to be in decent shape. Any idea what drive shower that is?

How feasible is it to replace the swim platform with a tubular one? Are the mounting locations the same or would I need to fill old holes and drill new ones? How much are tubular platforms?

I have a 95 outlaw SST, 454EFI/B1, its been a great boat, any questions, just PM me

I have seen 60+ MPH, the boat is stock other than Stainless Marine exhaust [with mufflers] spinning a 13 7/8 X 23P 3 blade stainless prop

Mounting locations aren't the same you'll have to fill holes and drill new ones.

First thing I'd do is have someone inspect it for rot before I did anything. 90's boats are known for it.

Agreed on the rot! If it hasn't had repair work done than it will most likely need some.
