Default Video- JBS Turbines + Fuel = Awesome Flames

Here is a short video I captured with my 5D Mark II, of Jeff hitting the Burners on his Turbines, while the Mystic was docked at Tumbleweed.

I tried embedding it first, but couldn't get the links to work properly.

You don't need a Facebook Acct, to watch the video.

Thanks James .

I am not sure of the cause, but it seems the flames go out instantaneously on JBS (Actually a good thing) .

From the local boat here "Jet Set", his seems to linger a little longer. Not sure as to why ?
Maybe Jet Set is dumping more raw fuel at less pressure ?

Yes Tim The Fuel solenoid that Fusco is using is much larger

How its done is they introduce raw fuel into the exhaust then there is one igniter after the spray. Outside of the exhaust
the fuel would not ignite. However the exhaust is at approx.
900 degrees. This is what lowers the flash point and Wala
flames.

Just watch your eyebrows.

Default Afterburners

The flames on jet set are impressive.my afterburners are just for fun-we did restrict the fuel streak a bit for a more controlled burn and are purely visual and have no performance gain.

Even though it adds no speed advantage, it adds to the show and is entertaining for the spectators, which is always great.
