That boat was built by Regal. Stepp got the company back in 92. If the boat is super clean and garage kept it could be a good buy. I have only seen a couple that wern't wet look closely ate the transom and stringers.

I bought a 1988 Regal 230 Velocity new in Dec 1987. The boat had a 454 Mag/Bravo One and would run upper 60's all day long! It was a blast to drive and you could really feel the boat when it climbed on the pad. It was easy to tow and had a usable cabin for a relatively small boat. You could easily overnight/camp in the cabin. The hull was based upon Steve Stepps original 22' Velocity but with a Euro styled top deck and molded swim platform. The lack of quality materials for the cockpit (seats/combing panels) was their biggest downfall. I've heard of some quality control problems with the layup by Regal but I never had any problems with my boat at all.
