Hi All
'99 Checkmate zt280, 502/B1...while changing the gear lube I emptied and cleaned out the reservoir. When I hooked it back up (empty), no alarm came on. I turned the key on, reversed the wires, nothing. Pretty sure the leads running to the bottle are getting power, but will know more tomorrow.
Any immediate thoughts pop to mind? The alarm wasn't an option, was it? Maybe I don't have one...I don't see anything behind the dash.
Thanks
Tom

If you leave the key turned "on" for more than about 5 seconds, the alarm should also go off. The low oil pressure will set it off. If it doesn't then the alarm horn is bad or you don't have one.

Thanks guys, I don't think I have one. I don't see anything under the dash, and the alarm didn't go off after leaving the key on. Kind of weird that the bottle would be all wired up, but not lead to a horn. No big deal as I check it daily, but just one of those little things that make you wonder...
