Does anyone know how to access the fuel vent fitting on a 1996 272? I need to change the flushmount fitting on the port side of the boat near the fuel fill.

Should be a access port there to get to it. Be a white 1/4 turn about the size of a coffee can lid.

You may have to pull the entire side panel off. I've never tried to reach mine but I can see how it'll be hard to reach through the gunnel storage. It might even be accessable through removing the glove box.????

I changed the one on ours thru the speaker hole. It wasn't easy, but doable.
