Default 22 Apache Outboard, Any good?

Any feedback on a 22 outboard model. Saw one from 1987 with a 225 on it. Just curious how these boats are.

thanks

Tough as nails, good ride, slow compared to similar sized boats. But you will never here them snap, crackle or pop like others. I was told my bones will break before the boat will and strongly believe it. Boat is way overbuilt. Sweet ride.

I have a 250 on the same hull and it loves to hit waves. Sometimes i feel unstoppable. I punish the boat and it just wants more. My body starts to give up before the boat.

I have a 95 and it is built like a brick sh*$ House. It loves the chop and slop. If your only looking at top speed on flat water this is definitely not your boat.

If any of you apache scout owners are looking to move up to something bigger I would be willing to do a partial trade for an Apache scout. Check it out here http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o40763-en.html
