Default 280 pq with 454 mag prop helphelp

OK so looking at the boat an while the owner was driving in very rough water we were doing 60 at what looked like 6000 rpm??? Is this odd. Also very slow coming outs the water. I believe it has stock 4 blade prop. Stock motor. What can I do to get outa water faster an is that a normal rpm for the boat?

Is it a 454 Mag MPI? If so, the rev limiter is set at 5150 RPM. Something does not sound right.

Is the boat pink purple and teal. For sale at Kellys Port? If so it was mine a couple years ago.

Specific performance numbers as well as the gear ratio and the exact propeller modal is needed to send you in the best direction.
