Dan looks like a good event unfortunately I will not be around that weekend, however if it rains and Billy reschedules it count me in!

Billy and I have been talking alot about this event!

Its great for the CT area, for local businesses, and I hope it does well.

to bad us guys with smaller boats and less power would not have a chance in hell,

I have the company I work for sponsor this event, why don't others do the same?

or even CPBA sponsor it?

I am looking to make it. Maybe talk my RI buddies into cruising down as well.

If you and Dan would JOIN the CPBA maybe we would have enough funds to sponsor an event.LOL

In fact I see an awful lot of Performance boats and I know the owners arent members yet.

At our current level of membership if all renew this year we will be in a much better place to do runs and functions but as it stands now were still below the mark!


It is getting better every day though.

for us guys who pretty much run every weekend this is getting to be a very expensive year, I see more guys cutting back on thier boating each day.

Hopefully fuel prices will start to drop soon

never underestimate the power of the force.......last year a
30' sonic won the trophy for the around LI run, beating out a pair of really fast cats....it's not the lap time for this event, it's all in the cards....run it!
