I think Doc had CONSIDERABLY more than 500HP, "engines need minor repair" I would assume since they are both tore down to the long blocks (and uncovered) the repairs are more than likely MORE than "minor"

They also dont mention in the ad that the drives are missing. Shame, it was a gorgeous boat, probably one of the nicest Baja's ever.

Tough times all around.

Yeah that sucks to see. tough times for sure. Heard something about bankruptcy? not sure of details but sounds like a difficult situation through and through.

At the risk of speaking "out of turn" I think whatever the reason behind Doc selling the boat, is really no one but HIS business, just my 2cents, no offense intended!

No offense taken...you're right. I just always enjoyed Docs posts and had been wondering where he had been. If he's going through Chapter 11, he's in with some good company it seems as of late No shame in it and I wish him the best. Hope to see him around these parts soon.

Well put! I agree. I liked Docs input too, still have one of his T Shirts, agreed there are a PILE of us going through rough times, its a shame when bad things happen to good people.
