502 water pump which hose?

502 water pump which hose?
external water pump. Just change impeller and forgot which hose goes to which side. the pump cover has RH out on one side and LH out on the other. I assume that it means if its a RH drive then the RH out goes to the oil cooler? Problem is the hoses dont seem to want to go that way naturaly from the way it was hooked up? Any help quickly is appreciated.
