SCOPE Poker Run History
Check out Tank Sears' blog about the history behind Southern California Offshore Powerboat Elite (SCOPE) and the club's 17th annual poker run, which is coming up next weekend (Aug. 26-27) in Long Beach, Calif.

Unfortunately it competes with the LOTO shoot out (same weekend) but still a great run that everyone should enjoy at some point. With Catalina as a destination, it's a very unique poker run.

I've been on poker runs from coast to coast and I gotta say Catalina island adds a certain je ne sais quoi...it's a whole 'nother ball game!
