The last post i explained in detail the cooler I have built. I have been doing some testing and have found with block ice it will cool in direct sunlight with cabin temp starting at 98 degrees it will cool down to 70-75 degrees for just about 3hrs. It probably will run longer at nite after the sun goes down?? I have been doing some research on peltier coolers and have found they do make a 12vdc marine ac/heater unit in 1500-2500-3500 btu systems. They have some on ebay.. Has anyone seen these units or tryed them??

no takers? these units were built by cruise n comfort, they now use 3 stage compressor with typical refrigerant. No one has seen thes early units??
