K so i got a 454 mag that sounds ok. But i want louder. What the best way for that with out spendi g 1000s of bucks

Assuming your current exhaust tips have baffles in them, replace them with a set of straight-thru tips. The next step would be to replace the stock cast-iorn manifolds with a set of aftermarket manifolds such as Stainless Marine. Better yet, add a set of Lightning or CMI E-Top headers.

Unless someone changed them to something else I put slash cut Corsa tips on the boat when I bought it. It did have the tips with baffles and was too quiet.

Not gona get much for 1k unless you can find some decent dry pipes used.. New BBC stuff is exp.. Remove any baffles like said.. Exhaust is the only thing that is going to make it louder, unless you change cams, up compression, get the HP sound..
