Default supercharger efficiency

Looking into adding a supercharger to a 454 mag carb engine. How much is the sc going to effect fuel mileage at cruising speed and at wot? I don't mind if it sucks it down at wot, but would like to retain some efficiency at cruising speed....

Ouch! So plan on 10k huh? Sounds like buying a Nitrous system...sounds cheap until you add all the things you want/need above the initial kit...

I am with you there. If you have a top mount charger add in the price of glass work and paint. Oh, and cockpit cover. Oh yeah mooring cover. I spent way more than I had budgeted for my install.
