I have 89 Scarab 22 with a 350 Magnum. Does anyone know the recomdended WOT RPM'S for this boat..I am trying to determine a prop for it.

I'd try a 21 three blade. Mirage ... mirage +

Yea I talked to a Prop Shop today and they are suggesting the same thing..He said I should get maxium RPM'S, speed, and my hole shot should be alot better.

I have the same boat, same power.

I run 4400 RPM with a 4 Blade Merc Rev4 21' - 50 MPH GPS
I run 4800 RPM with a 3 Blade Mirage 21' - 54 MPH GPS

The Mirage works much better all around unless I'm loaded with 7 people and coolers.

Well that is what I am getting with a laser 24.. Trying to get the RPM's to 4900..

I have a 22 Scarab 1994 Alpha 1 Merc drive with a 350 Mag...I have a Laser II 23 p and can pull 55 - 60 at 4500 to 5000 rpm ...with a full tank and two people....

Installed some new exhaust manifolds and I can now get 60 out of the boat at 4500 rpms. Still running the Laser 24p

Ok guys, now i am really confused..I thought I had a laser 24..But after inspecting the prop i realize I have a Laser 21p..I can only get 4500 rpm's at WOT... Need help to get to 5k on the tack
