Are these coolers modular in construction? Are there two seperate cooling units on the inside? I only need the power steering portion of the cooler and it looks like the engine oil section could be removed, providing they are soldered in the middle, and then re-attach the water hose end to the power steering side.

Separate units, I would rather get a new PS cooler than trying to split the one you got. They are not expensive.
