I run 454 420hp's worked to 496's, 60 over Eagle crank, J.E. Pistions, H-Beam rods, ported and polished MIRLIN (WORLD) heads, Roller Rockers, mercury racing 650's carb's with DART intakes and LIGHTNING headers , runs 87 octane 525hp.

Good large oval port heads with Inconel exhaust valves and flat top pistons which will give you 9 to 9.5:1 compression.
Edelbrock RPM airgap dual plane intake
800 Holley marine carb
Crane 731 roller cam
Roller rockers
