Default Running temp on an 03 496

I have an 03 baja with twin 496s. What should the running temp be? Right now it's at 170.

Mine sits between 156 and 163. 163 when idling. I believe the thermostat is 160 degrees.

I've changed the water pumps, cleaned the heat exchangers and it's still the same. Is there something else I should be looking at or changing? They don't fluctuate much,a couple degrees but for the most part remain around 170

That's perfectly normal. Mine always ran around 170, regardless of air or sea water temp.

Mine runs right at 160 +/- a few degrees. After a hard run it will run up to about 175 or so at idle and then cool back down after a bit.

Default 496 temps

Dang, mine runs 160-170 and after running and then back directly to idle i am at 185 degrees (water in the south is 85-88 degrees also)! EVERYTHING is new and no blockages anywhere! No alarms, no idea what to check next.
