Anyone running a Whipple SC setup for a 350 Mag MPI?

I was thinking a Whipple SC setup for a 350 Mag MPI but they seem pricey. Would like to see how much power you are getting and how reliable it has been.

3 years with no problems so far, I think Dustin said they make around 450hp @5lbs. It's a very easy install too, just make sure you add an oil cooler to help out that 4.5 quart pan..

Oil cooler... got it!

Don't have the boat yet... looking at a 22 apache, think it would be a neat little project... doing a little prepurchase fact finding.

I have done a few of them. It's an excellent upgrade that will make from 450-500 hp, depending on boost. You won't be sorry you did it. As Haxby mentioned, an oil cooler is a must.
Let me know if I can help with pricing, advice, etc.

Had Bob @ Full Throttle do my Merc 6.2 over last winter.

We changed to Aluminum bigger valve heads, forged pistons, slightly larger cam, 7qt oil pan with oil cooler 6 psi of boost at it made 595 hp with 575 ft. lbs of tq. that was pretty flat from 3,000-5,800. Nite and day different from stock!!!!!

Eddie, if all goes well with the purchase of the boat you will be hearing from me.

Steve - sounds very interesting... 595 hp / 575 ft. lbs of tq are very nice numbers from a boosted small block. How does it idle and act around the dock?

Wow, I knew that the 6.2 Merc had potential but that is really some improvement!

Idles not to much unlike stock other than it's in a very small single V and now I'm turning very large props, thats the only thing that makes it less dock friendly.
Still playing with props but I've got a solid 20 mph gain over stock.
