Default Paint ideas

I'm thinking of putting a little Krylon on the boat over the winter. I was thinking I'd just stick with the same graphics, just update the colors a little and add some ghosted Baja logos into the mix.
Am I wasting the time and $$ or what?
I don't want to paint the entire boat, nor do I wish to spend the $$ to do so.
I am thinking candy red, a really nice metallic silver and a metallic black or carbon fiber look paint all three colors as a possibility.
What do you think?

A deep candy red is one of the nicest colors around. Just make sure who ever is applying it, knows what he or she is doing. It's a clear color, and it looks bad if the thickness is uneven.

Jason. Thought you where selling your boat?

I would like to sell it & buy an airplane, however I think if I keep this boat I'll be able to have both!

I know! Wal-Mart has it on sale for $0.99 a can. I plan on leaving it & the paint in Mexican town to let the graffiti "artists" have at it.

Have you looked at "Wraps"? I know you dont want to paint the boat, but, there are some pretty cool wraps out there, and, unlike Paint, its easier/cheaper to change or remove. Worst part of custom paint is it really limits the resale, but, you are keeping it anyway, so, go for it!!

Good Luck!

Absolutely not! Wraps don't shine & since I used to be a Messican (I still like lights & chrome) a wrap to me is a word usually followed by "sheet".
No wraps for me.

You have a sweet boat and upgrading to the next step is way to far of a leap, and still get a plane. I feel like I am in the same situation as you. I want to upgrade boats but to keep the large cockpit, 100mph, at least 2001, at least gain few feet, etc, stonger drives, etc, the jump is huge. So I bought the cruiser and kept this boat.

I like the carbon fiber idea, and the candy red sounds nice as long as it does not look to burgandy. I love lots of black graphics also! I would paint the entire boat, go big or go home! I hear you can work some good deals out for winter. Mitcher T did a nice job on a 37 outerlimits last winter, and I heard it was a good deal.
