Brownie built one a few years back, he put a 2.4 on it. He ran it a few times (Cruising 70+ at half throttle) then said (to himself) F-That and sold it. High 70's starts the danger zone in those, one good wind gust and you'll be buying new britches at the least

The issue that they run bow high to begin with. In a protected environment you're fine if you know what you're doing.
If you're some place where there is any wind gusting and your hanging it, you're going for a swim.

.................................................. .................................................. ...................You got that right throttleman, i remember when i was young i saw a Calson Contender ( Similar boat ) with about 6 people in it , + the only thing touching the water was the prop,It was cool as hell !
