Default 08 F250 or 07 F250?

Two nice trucks...
07 6.0 has only 16,000 miles

08 is a King Ranch with 32,000 miles

Am I getting into an unreliable truck with either?
Whats your preference?

the 6.0 in 2007 was not as much of an issue as the earlier models were. The 6.4l is fine, it will be a gas hog though. And you still have another year of powertrain anyways I would get the 08 more power and a better truck all around

Not to mention the 08 is going to have a totally new interior than a 07 which is way nicer.

If you go w/ the 08 do a dpf & egr delete, which will mean you also need a decent tuner.... But it's like a whole new truck & those 2 things are what cause all the headaches on these trucks & they are pretty problem free after that! W/ these mods the truck will break the tires loose from a 10mph roll & it also greatly improves gas milage

buddy did his and its pretty hardcore. Although its not necessary the truck works fine and pulls fine without it. Mine did. Problem with a DPF delete is this, for good one installed your looking 1500-2000 into it, take alot of mileage to make that up. You void the warranty with this for sure and my buddy always has little crap breaking on him since he did it. It definitly works and is cool but weigh the pros and cons before you do.

Done a few 6.4 DPF deletes w H&S electronics 550 s 450 s got another one hear waiting for the tuner to get here and an 2012 dodge in a few weeks, totally different trucks after that , for the 1500 to 2000 the fuel mileage increase will pay for itself soon depending how much the truck is used , not only stop the internal pollution of the engine . EGRs on diesels just not right and yes 550 s and 450 s will smoke the tires even the 50 mph to 80 mph is crazy acceleration but you will probably loose your warranty but I believe the emission system has to do with a lot to do with those problems !!!

cdowns had any of those motors had any tuners or deletes like I mentioined? I just picked mine up about a month ago & there are certainly some real horror stories out there on the 6.4 motors.... I did my research & there are reasons for the demise of the motors when they go down!!!

I have an 06 and 07 6.0 both with almost 200k on them .
Leave them stock and they will last . Tuners are fun but take their toll . I know that from my 05 6.0 . Everything was covered by warranty but still a concern.
BTW thanks for the great tour in Opa Locka a few years back .

We all have to remember something about cdowns.... He is from Tennessee. The "oil change" in TN is done by taking the oil from one car and swapping it with another car. They seem to have difficulty with engine longevity there.
Downs, I also remember that truck going through a few tailgates... Darn Fords!

1 bagger- I still do factory tours here in Miami... Just in a different factory...
