Default Did PQ build any 320SC's with blue motors?

Does anyone know if any 320SC's built with HP500 or 525's? How did they run??

TIA
Rick

Good question.

I've heard the 496HO boats ran 60 or 65 mph, can't quite remember the exact speed.

That would be a nice boat with blue motors!

Powerboat TV review of the Powerquest 320 SC

62.9 top end in the boat test...

Verbi...here's the cruiser for you! Drop your 525s in one of these and sell the 380 hull to the KID for his 65k offer

While looking for our sister ship I've talked to quite a few 320 owners and never ran across one with "blue motors". Or diesels for that matter!

320sc would definitely be my boat if I move up! Still moves pretty good with better creature comforts and a generator!

I have an 03 with the 496 mag ho's and Bravo 3X's. The previous owner said he had it up to 67mph but I am skeptical (have not had it hooked up to GPS). The one on Powerboat TV had 496 Mags and it did ~63mph. Their is one 320 out there with diesels, it is an 05 but I have never seen one with blue motors.

We own the 320LSC with diesels (Yanmar 6LP's 315hp each mated with Bravo X drives). When empty (which she rarely is) in calm water (which Lake Michigan sometimes is) she get's to 52mph @ 3850rpm.That's with Mirage 23 props.
We rarely push for that but what we really like is cruising across the lake @ 40mph while getting 2.6mpg. Oh! the diesel genny is purty damn nice too!

I had been considering the Formula 330 to use as a weekend cruiser but really like the performance edge and appearance of the PQ 320 SC. Big blocks, a gen, and ac would be requirements for us.

You guys that have 320's- what would be on your short list of things PQ should have done differently??
Thanks,
Rick

A more easily accessible mid-cabin. It's big enough, just tough to get in to.
Besides that, we love ours. Great for a weekend with 4, or a week with 2 people. It's fun boat to drive and ride in!
