That Geico Racing Team is sure a class act. Kudos to them!

Seems like this could open them up to a huge liability. They are stating they are the experts in the field for safety and will perform extensive examinations. My thought is that this advice would need some serious liability insurance. Meaning if they say the windows are good for x amount, then in a crash they implode...
Suggesting advice would need quanitative data vs. the typical boating design which is trial and error.

However, Good for them to take the risk for the betterment of their sport

Great idea.
The sport helping itself instead of outsiders.

KUDOS to the people initiating and enacting this idea.
