lil help...sarasota area

I am going down to sarasotta next week for the first time and i would like to take my dad deep sea fishing. I have no idea about where to get a charter or what i should exspect to pay...or catch....or if this is evan a good idea. I know his is a power boat site and this is an odd request ....but i was hopping some that lives in the area can give ne some insite

sarasota "deep"sea no real fishing
u can do some wrecks for amber jack and barracuda
but deep sea fishing is east coast
or u can do bay fishing or backwater in sarasota but the red tide years back detroyed that.. dont know if it has recovered
google west coast fishing reports and see whats currently going on

My dad is down there now and he just called and said he talked to one guyvthe clamed he would take us for 700 for 4 hours and snouther guy that told him not to go deep and he would tske us out for $300

their are others at that marina that will charter your fishing trip also..

My wife,Sister and I had a great day with Capt Bob, caught alot fish, didnt keep any....but we said we just wanted to catch fish didnt matter what they where. Think he called them ladyfish? www.sarasota-fla-fishing.com/
