Default Bennett Tab Control ????

for those of us that use bennett trim tabs which style control do you use and do you use an indicator? i have what i believe is what they refer to as competition style control (has four seperate buttons not rocker swithch) and i hate it. has anyone else had better luck with the rocker or joystick control?? Also anyone had any luck with indicators other than the mechanical cable type. just not in the mood to cut my dash or transom for the mechanical indicators yet.

Thanx Rob

I use the rockers and the Bennet trimdicators (new this year) so far so good on them. I dont have any problems with the rockers but I am going to figure out a way to use them from my steering wheel. Heres a picture of where I mounted the trimdicators.

formula 31 if that is your rockers behind the wheel looks like and awkward place to have em. also do you have any problem reading your trimdicators in the sun. are they the style with the digital readout and the bar graph and how did they tie into your system??

I have the same tab/indicator setup as formula31. Mine came from the factory like that, so I'm not sure exactly how mine tie in.
But i don't have any problems seeing them in the sunlight.

Yes, the rocker location sucks (OEM). The readout is very bright and has the bar and the numbers (0-20) I have the whole Bennett system with twin cylinders driving 280 k-planes (Frankentabs as somebody called them). The trimdicators come with the senders that are in new cylinder tops. You just change the tops and run the wire. And then mount the cpu, calibration is easy and away they go. It was a nice kit.
