Default Where to get parts in Austin?

I'm a gearhead (cars) and know better than to go to "the dealer" for parts because of the mark-up. Boats are a new arena to me. Is there a thriving aftermarket supply of parts for boats like there is for cars? Right now I need to replace the tail light socket (the one you put up when it gets dark). Someone pushed down on the mast hard enough to punch the socket through. The Ski Dock is listed as the local dearship but is there someplace else to go?

Look for a 'Boat US' or a 'West Marine' in your area. A lot of parts on a boat are generic type of items. Or you can buy your parts online thru these same stores. www.boatus.com

Good luck
