I use Wizards products and have found them to be the best on boats. I use Farecla daily in the shop and have found it to work very good on boats also. I am not a fan nor do I recomend 3M or Meguires because I don't get as good of a finished product. Just my .02...

I switched from 3M products to Fountain of Youth products last year and was very pleased with the results.

I use Poor Boys World products. Works for me on both paint and gel.

I used Xxponet last year, never had to do it again, water beaded at the end of the season just like the beginning.

Goes on easy like wax.

I have used the Buff Magic and Pro Polish with good results. The Serious Marine Cleaner and Serious Shine work well on the interior. Also I use the Brite Wash to clean the exterior. For me all of the Shurhold products are great.

Presta super cut compound is amazing on GELCOAT. Used with an electric buffer and foam pad.

Collinite makes a great wax to protect and shine the finish once you have it shiny! My favorite is the 885

Funny, as I was googling the links I came across a combo pack for the 2. We used to use a certain 3M product that was discontinued, and multiple other waxes that are heavily advertised to offshore boats. NONE of those products work well on GEL. They just have good marketing. We were turned onto the presta buy our local store and the Collinite by some high end Yacht owners. As you see here, pretty popular combo! http://www.macteconline.net/servlet/...-Presta/Detail

When I bought my boat new in 2007, Baja recommended Shurhold products.
