Are you sure that it makes a difference, call CP Performance, I think that the throttle body etc are the same.

Is that the "XS" series flame arrestor or the "SS" series?

Ted, it is the XS Series, send me an email if you want it? Also I had a motor for sale but sold it already, I just put a 500EFI in my boat and it was worth every penny!!

Just curious... what kind of motor was it, how many hours, and how much did you sell it for?

I'm very remotely thinking about pulling my 7.4 MPI (25 hours) and selling it to put in bigger power.

It was a 2001 454 (385HP) motor with 75 hours on it, I sold it minus the silent choice, shift bracket and drive resevoir for $6000. The 500 EFI's are up there but it was well woorth the extra money. Good luck you won't regret it.
