Which oil do you guys recommend in my 1050 hp...540?
Spinning 6200 RPM

Amsoil Dominator 15-50
or
Amsoil Z-Max 20-50

And why?

My choice would be the Dominator Racing, but here are the links to both data sheets. Both products will work great in your application.

Also, the dominator racing actually has more zinc and phosphorus than the Zrod. The zrod, however, does have a bit more of a rust and corrosion inhibitor package built into for engines that tend to sit a while between uses. But you say you're running 6200 R's, I think the Racing Oil would be your number 1 choice.

I just asked the same question from Amsoil tech support and they told me Dominator is the way to go for very high performance engines. Z-Rod is designed more for flat tappet engines that are more moderate in power.
