Default HP500 oil tem sensor maybe? What goes here?

I have a 1999 / 2000 Gen VI, hp500 carb motor that is missing this sender. I am having trouble finding out exactly what it is. I think it might be an oil pressure switch / sending unit. It is located towards the top of the oil filter provision on the port (passenger) side of the motor. The motor has the stock remote oil cooler and thermostat. The wire look like its brown with a white tracer. Any help would be great.

I am pretty sure you are correct. Like 95%. You can ground it out in boat harness and watch needle.
