am going to have a Baja logo cut out of a piece brushed stainless steel. I am thinking it will be 31.2X10.5X 1/8 to fit under the back seat. I want it to cover my 10" subs. It will look like this. I am checking with the guy that can water jet it for me on price. I am guessing about $100. If anyone interested in one let me know.
Thanks Steve

That looks sharp, But the $100 is really low, or is that for the WJ only?

Why not use something along the lines of 1/32"? 1/8" is way more than needed.
LED back lighting would look really cool.

I'll make you boys all of those you want for $100 each!! I own a fab shop and have 3 lasers that cut material. Just FYI waterjetting is the slowest form of freecutting you can do and therefore the people cutting get to charge$$ because of the time involved. Waterjets shine in material over 1" thick were the limitations of laser cutting stops. Waterjetting thin sheet metal is not advised because of expense. And it you are just making covers i'd cut from a thinner stainless like a 18(.048") or 16 ga(.060") since you do not need strength and it is just for cosmetic purpose. The thicker you go the more weight it is and stainless is priced per pound so you are paying for weight you don't need and adding dead weight to your boat also. Hope this helps.
