Theres only so much that can be read about don aronow, and I figure nobodies getting any younger.

Any insight, or personal stories would be cool. Im sure many would appreciate it.

I've hung out w/ him a few times from 76-mid 80s.
But i was only 6yo thru a teen at that point.
Some of those visions are etched in my memory.

Of course I wasn't alive when Don was around, but I am friends with his son, Michael Very nice guy who loves to talk about classic offshore and his dad! Lots of great stories.

My dad knew him fairly well. When he was head of the Custom's Fleet and they were buying boats from Don, Don took my father out numerous times, and he was present at all the negotiation meetings

Brownie has all the stories. Boats thrown up on docks, boats taken over bulkheads and down in the woods, shooting out lights, etc, etc.....

Wow, that would be quite...interesting. As much as I love Cigarette, I feel as if I'd be better off owning a marina some day
