Just sealed the deal on a '00 25ft Baja Outlaw!!
The boat includes as follows:
500EFI unfortunatly with a regular Bravo1 drive
Had the SST package but custom paint applied recently
Everything else I believe the 25' comes with, from drive shower to halon fire extinguishers
Runs 72 on the Gaffrig speedo which I believe is on par. Not really moving up since I also run/ran a 25' Checkmate Convincor. Just wanted the bigger motor but ended up getting another boat!

Congratulations and Welcome Aboard. It's a big flotilla with a great bunch of boats!
Nice choice, I guarantee you'll enjoy it!
Have you taken it out for a cruise yet? If you did or when you do, let us know how the two compare.

Appreciate the welcome guys, and you want a comparison? I'll try
The Checkmate hull is about 1000lbs lighter but it only shows during docking. Almost ran into a pier with the Baja, it takes a little more reverse to get it stopped and going backwards. The Baja also planes considerably quicker which may be due to the huge k-planes. The Check points its nose a little higher while the Baja runs almost perfectly flat. At wot, which is about 8mph more on the Baja, she runs like a champ while the Check required a lot of trim to max out which produced chine walk. However it would warn you unlike the Baja, which bounces around like crazy when you do something wroing. Basically I switched to the outlaw for 'the little things.' Steps to get on the bow, larger engine comparment; although the cabin is smaller I like the dual hatch layout better. The bottom line I suppose is while the Baja slices through most the Checkmate acted nimble and danced from one wave to the other.
Glad I don't write test articles for a mag...its not that easy!
