Thats not a bad price for a 32 foot stinger assuming the stringers and transom are in good shape. He says its ready for the water but there has to be something in need of repair otherwise why the cheap price?

15500 Doesn't seem too cheap for a sbc powered stinger... Especially considering it's age, obviously it needs a good cleaning.

Twin 454's not SBC's. 330 H/P. Still a nice looking Stinger. I'd definately own it...

"Fountain hull?" Not on a Stinger.

That is a good looking Stinger IMO. I would rather have this Chris Craft than a 22ft Progression with a mercury outboard.

I never said it wasn't a good looking boat. I always loved the way those old Stingers looked - particularly on the early Miami Vice episodes.

What I'm questioning is how one ends up with a Fountain hull under a Chris Craft. (Excaliber maybe.)

The original 31' Chris Craft Stingers and Fountain Executioners were both derived from the 31' Excalibur. All three are essentially the same boat, prior to Fountain adding the "beak" after the first ten or so Executioners.

Thanks. That makes perfect sense. I was aware of the Excalibur connection, but didn't know the design was shared with CC.
