Anywhere between 210 and 280 is good. Less and it won't evaporate condensation and more and the oil breaks down faster.

Is the same true for a 525efi? According to smartcraft, my oil is usually around 165, sometimes it will go up to the 180's.

I thought that seems low. My water temp is usually around 150 which seems low too.

I wonder if my t-stat is stuck open? Otherwise the motor seems to run great.

I noticed in the 525efi manual that it said that the MAX oil temp should be 220.
