hey everyone i have a 29' kryptonite with a 650hp 548 bravo xr with the stock dwp lower and bravo 1 28P with some pitch added.
it runs the best of 93.8 at 6000 rpm light on fuel and usually runs 90-92 at 5800-5900 with more people and fuel.

you guys think id benefit with an imco lower.. possible shorty and or a different type of prop? hydromotive etc.

thanks!

Your teetering on the needing a nosecone/not needing one speed but It might like the higher X-Dimensions, Kryptos seem to. Not an ITS right?

What is your X now? I seem to remember my prop shaft about 2 1/2" below my bottom. That worked real good.

no ITS.. ill check to see where my prop shaft centerline is after work. id like to do something to get a little more out of it but id hate to do a lower and get no results.

what prop type are you guys running? think id do better moving away from the bravo 1?

What ever Fast Fun 2 tells you should be Golden, I believe they have one and have wrang out every last bit of speed from it (Thats what they do )

But, if the 29 Fountain ( Watch Your Back) and the new 29 Outerlimits are any indication of how high your X dim can be I'm sure you still have room to go up, They are very high and achive Great speed, Both have Shorties.

Ray, ask skip to make your bravo into a -1 shorty. It'll most definitely help and be cheaper than buying new!

Order a case (new or used) from imco and cut the drive shaft. Call skip (or ronnie) and he'll take care of ya. If I remember it wasn't too bad of a price. I almost did towards mid summer until I had to replace the gimbal.
