Default water line size

I have EMI ehaust and I was told I have to much water in the shorty risers. I am dumping some water out of my exhaust and was wondering what size hose barb to use. I originally was going to use 1/2 hose barb size which is about a 3/8 in hole size in the barb fitting. I had special tee fittings made by eddie marine which will be mounted between the little jump hose and the riser pipe. 2 dumps on each motor out the side of the boat

Thanks

How did they come to the conclusion, you have to much water?

Drew marine told me to dump the water from the exhaust to help stop reversion. He said the exhaust risers only need minimal water. I am also using shotgun III silencers. Also the pressure is 5 lbs at idle, 12-15 lbs @ 3000 rpms and WOT over 20 lbs. This should help drop the pressure
