Default Wiring and fuel pump question...

Recently acquired a Baja 272 Boss.. Replaced starter and she cranks and will run on starting fluid. Has 502 MPI. Being she is fuel injected, I would assume an electronic fuel pump. However, I don't hear one running when I turn on key. If anyone knows if this is electric or mechanical I would appreciate any advice.

Second issue is a wire that was cut from harness and connected directly to the battery. It is a 12 ga orange wire. There is a switch at the helm that lights up when this is connected (button is broke off so I am not sure what it is) but since it is wired direct, it stays on even when Perko battery switch is in off position. I am going to hook it back up like it should be, just wondering what it is if anyone knows.

Also in "wanted" section I have a post seeking a reset breaker for my Corsa silent choice. It is missing.

Thanks in advance!

Dustin

Friend of mine has the same set up, and the mechanical fuel pump runs off the back side of the sea pump

VST system

I have the reset breaker for the Corsa system. I'm a little hesitant to sell since they're almost impossible to find anymore. A couple of years ago I bought a whole new harness for almost $250. Turned out to be a ground issue, not with my existing harness.

It says CDM-20 on it. See if you can find one. If not and you get desperate, I'll consider parting with it. I'll post a couple of pics of it tomorrow.

Here's a wiring diagram for the setup you should have.
