Not going to point at specifics but there seems to be several boats for sale in the classifieds for WAY more than they sold at last time around.
I guess boat buyers are ahead of the recovery, Or sellers think they are.

Course most of them are re-listed after their ghost bid's win their first auction and the 2nd one doesn't get half way to their minimum bid.
Craigslist is the same. Best ones are the "completely restored" boats that were pcs of crap when new. Now they're worth double market value cuz you fixed all the crap that was wrong w/it??

Lots of folks listing their boats above market value, and the boats will just sit. Eventually one of two things will happen, they'll lower the price or pull it off the market. If the banks loosen up, the market will become better.

The red 700 ZRC sold for around $200k - the Shelby blue 525 ZRC sold new for around $145k. A member got them mixed up and posted bogus sales numbers for the Red boat and apparently the Myth of the Red 700 ZRC selling new for $140k lives on........

everyone thinks there stuff has doubled in price jmo
