Default Hydro to Bravo prop conversion

28" Hydromotive prop = 27" or 29" Bravo 1. Thanks

Bravo 1 pitch is overstated by 1.5 inches compared to most other props. Don't know why.

So a Bravo1 29 1/2" would be the equivalant of a 28" Hydro. Thanks

Jerry, are you going to try out a Bravo prop on your boat? Did you get your new drive yet?

20 questions I know!

24" Hydromotive = 26" Bravo1 with the tips cut back to equal a 25". If your prop shop hasn't done this before have them call Merc for the template.

Yeah, thinking as long as insurane is going to replace my prop, might as well try a Bravo. With the hydro, I would have trouble staying on plane around 30mph without the prop loosing bite. Thinking the Bravos larger blades may help out. Going to get estimates today. If all goes well, will order outdrive and by back in the saddle by next weekend.
