i have used the mcguires restoration kit to bring my boat from absolutly terrible looking to close to new looking. menards use to sell the 3 bottle kit for 27 bucks but i dont think they stock it anymore. i now have been buying the bigger bottles that bass pro sells but i cant remember the brand name. there may be better but this stuff all seems to be working well

by the way i like the yellow on the 272 and the arch you hav in your avitar. i have a sport 250 which is the old version of your boat in yellow. i have seen other 250/270s in yellow but thats the first 272 i have seen.

It really depends on how bad it is. regardless it generally will take multiple steps and starting with something pretty aggressive and working your way to a finer/finishing compound and a good wax over top of that. I have a customer that comes in every year with a 20 (I think) Baja Outlaw that is all yellow and every year it is just crusty and gross from him neglecting it and letting it just sit outside all summer. I use Wizards "turbo cut" often with good results for a "1 step" compound.
