Yeah Tom just corrected me, said it was a 42, although I remember Mercury and MTI reporting it as a 44 during last year's Shootout. Fixed it in the story.

Here is a gentleman who quite likely could have bought "new." And yet he went for something pre-owned. Trust me, I want new boats to sell (the industry Jason and I cover, and our jobs, depend on it). But there are good buys in the used-boat segment (I know pre-owned is more PC, but used is not a dirty word) and smart people are taking advantage of that.

Used boats are just as important as new boats to sell to keep the train moving. A new boat with this power just didnt make financial sense to me. My 36 was an easy sale , which made this an easy sale also could of made a new boat sale easier for the previous owner. Thanks for the acknowledgement!

That orange boat is very nice. Looked it over a few times at the shootout last year. Congrats and enjoy!

Along with his 56-foot Viking, Tom Abraham has recently been enjoying his new toy, a 42-foot MTI with 2,200 horsepower

who plans to split time between it and Shameless, his Viking Yachts 65 Enclosed Bridge, for the rest of the summer.

I'll guess 65' is correct? Nice water packages for the weekend warrior.
