After filling, sanding, and spot gel coating the places where two snaps ripped out at 65 mph... Off.

On, with masking tape around the bottom of the cover to prevent the wind from getting under and pulling out the snaps.

Depends on how far and the weather, if nice out and heading to put it in, off...if towing somewhere and chance of rain, on.

Pretty much. I never had an issue from towing with mine off or on and let the weather dictate the method. Reasonable highway speeds were driven though.

I aways leave my cockpit cover on but is very tight and has a ton of snaps.

Goes from the base of the windshield to the swim, doesn't move and have towed in downpours, everything stays dry.

Would never pull with the full cover, I see people doing that and it looks like a parachute.

I usually do all my towing with the cover off, but I have pulled with it on. I trailered my Pachanga from RI to TX with the cover on (had other items in the cockpit that needed the shelter) and had no problems what so ever, but like Wildman said, tons of snaps and tight as H-E-double hockeysticks.

If no chance of rain off, if its going to rain on but I go around the whole cover with shrink wrap tape. Did 350 miles last weekend in the rain no problems and boat was dry.
