I have a 2000 502 Mag with a Procharger setup. I am redoing the fuel system the correct way (per Aeromotive) and looking to connect the Aeromotive 13101 regulator as close as possible to the stock fuel rail. Does anyone know what fitting I will need to connect AN-8 braided hose to the fuel rail? I can't buy anything in town locally so I will need to order it and want to make sure I get the correct fitting.
Also, I would appreciate any advice on mounting locations for the regulator. I don't have a problem building a bracket if needed but would like ideas from people who have solved this problem already.

Hi, I am in the process of installing a M3sc on a 98 502 mag mpi. I saw your question. I don't have an answer to your question but it raised a question of my own. What changes are you making over the Procharger installation vs. the what you mentioned about the Aermotive way? Can you give me some details? Thankyou for your time. Brett~

Below is the recommended setup from Aeromotive via thier tech support (Brett Clow). I have seen (as well as others on this forum) that the recommended Procharger fuel setup is not adequete. The MEFI is also being tuned via MEFIBURN software with a 2BAR MAP sensor.
The correct way to set this system up is to configure the tank with a 5/8” or larger stand pipe (pickup tube), with AN-10 line from the tank outlet to the Aeromotive 100-micron pre-filter. From the filter to the pump stay with AN-10.
From the pump to the engine you can knock down to AN-08, running through either the Aeromotive 10-micron element or a high-flow water filter separator rated for pressure, like one from Filter Solutions Technology. Once you’re out of the second filter you will run AN-08 line to the regulator, which should be mounted on the engine, as close to the fuel rail inlet as is practicable.
You want the Aeromotive 13101 regulator for this, not the 13129 I hate to say. Coming in one of the two side ports from the pump, you go out the other side port into the engine and out to the bottom and back to the top of the fuel tank. If you don’t have a connection on the top of the tank you might be able to put a steel splice in the filler tube with a return connection angled down toward the tank.
Here’s a quick parts list:
1 – 12304 100-micron pre filter
1 – 11101 A1000 fuel pump
1 – 12301 10-micron post filter (or one from FST performance)
1 – 13101 EFI bypass regulator
3 – 15608 ORB-10 to AN-10 port fittings
5 – 15610 ORB-10 to AN-08 port fittings
1 – 15606 ORB-06 to AN-06 port fitting
